Earthquake crisis management with emphasis on Sarpol-e Zahab earthquake

Abstract
Introduction: Floods, storms, landslides and earthquakes are some types of natural crises. Earthquakes are among the most dangerous and most frequently occurring natural disasters in different parts of the world. While an earthquake occurs, many problems arise as its consequence for the people affected by it and the natural life cycle for them may face with difficulties which may extend to the whole country.
Objective: this study is aimed to investigate the different dimensions of earthquake crisis management according to the experience of Sarpol-e Zahab (Iran) earthquake.
Methodology: The research was conducted by descriptive-analytical method and the required information was collected by library research method and field observations.
Results: From the results of this study, it can be anticipated that although there were some positive points in the concept of dealing with Sarpol-e Zahab earthquake crisis management, But it seems better of a single command center to manage the crisis of such incidents. Because crises and accidents have very complex dimensions and it is beyond the responsibility ou of a single organization to deal with them. In this regard, it is necessary to gain exercises in how to manage the crisis in the event of a crisis by performing regular and planned exercises and maneuvers in non-crisis Conditions.
