Kermanshah province has a variety of potentials to become an investment hub in the west of the country. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of needs assessment and prioritization of investment opportunities in Kermanshah province in a practical, exploratory mixed studies in two phases. In the first phase, by conducting semi-structured interviews with key informants in various fields and using thematic analysis methodology, the most important investment opportunities in Kermanshah province were identified. In the second phase, the investment opportunities extracted from the qualitative stage among the interviewed elites and other relevant elites (81 targeted and available) were evaluated to determine their importance and priority with the help of AHP hierarchical analysis. Based on the results obtained, in the field of melamine crystal investment industry; In the field of modern quarrying; In the field of tourism, establishing health tourism centers; In the field of urban services, development of Sarab Ghanbar Forest Park; In the field of intelligent video and traffic monitoring system; In the field of agricultural processing industries, packaging and processing of cereals and grains; In the field of livestock and poultry, construction of calf fattening (with a total capacity of 10,000 heads); In the field of medicine and horticulture, the development of medicinal plants; In the field of public and health infrastructure, the construction of urban health centers gained the first priorities. In the end, practical and managerial suggestions were presented to make better use of the potentials of Kermanshah province and attract investors.
