Investigating the effect of educational assistants in schools on the personal and social development of students (case study: elementary school students in Kermanshah)

Abstract
Purpose: The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of educational assistants in schools on the mental health and social education status of elementary school students in Kermanshah city in the 3 educational districts.

Methodology: The research is applied in terms of purpose, the research method is descriptive-survey of correlation type. The statistical population of the research consists of 357 parents of elementary school students in Kermanshah city in the 3 educational districts, who were randomly selected, and a standard and researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. In order to analyze the data, Kolmogorov Smirnov, Cronbach's alpha and Pearson's correlation coefficient tests were used in SPSS24 statistical software.

Findings: The findings of the research show that there is a relationship between the influence of educational assistants in schools and the mental health of students, the state of social education, the reduction of irrational beliefs of primary school students, the increase of self-esteem of primary school students, the social responsibilities of primary school students. Creating the necessary skills to perform the civil , improving the decision-making skills of primary school students, improving the participation and cooperation skills of primary school students, improving the social skills of primary school students, improving the skills There is a positive and meaningful relationship between primary school students' communication skills And there is no positive and significant relationship between the influence of educational assistants in schools and the reduction of emotional and behavioral problems of primary school students.
