Abstract
Urban street facades, containing visible buildings and facades, are crucial for improving the city's environment. However, there's a lack of attention to these components, particularly in the Urban Facades area. The study aims to evaluate and explain urban landscape quality components, investigate response types in facades, and their significance in Kermanshah city's North-South Corridor. The current study is designed with an applied goal and a descriptive-analytical research approach. Furthermore, the data gathering approach is based on field and desk research, and data analysis tools include questionnaires, SPSS, and Amos Graphics software. The study's findings show that goals are pursued in the urban landscape section, with structural components including visual-aesthetic-cognitive, semantic-perceptual, functional-activity, environmental, sense of place, and function dimensions, each with important criteria and indicators. Furthermore, on the urban context-oriented facade, the objective component with a factor load of 0.928 outperforms the subjective component with a factor load of 0.911. The research concludes with the introduction of four components in physical, perceptual, functional, and aesthetic aspects to improve the quality of the urban landscape in Urban Facades. Furthermore, it is proposed to enhance the urban environment of Kermanshah by focusing more on the dimensions and criteria of the objective and subjective components.
